The members of Zeta Tau Alpha here at Clemson University are heavily involved on our campus. As a whole, our chapter participates in many university and Panhellenic-sponsored events such as Homecoming, Greek Week, and First Friday, and individually, the sisters of the Kappa Zeta Chapter can be found participating in countless organizations and programs that reflect very well on our chapter. Not only can our members be found cheering on our Clemson Tigers in the stands of every football game in Death Valley, but they are also involved in and hold leadership positions in Student Government, Tour Guides, Study Abroad Offices, Intramural Sports, Greek Programming Board, Freshman Council, and many more!
Our chapter has a long and proud history of winning awards and special recognition for our accomplishments. Whether the awards are presented to us by Clemson University or ZTA Nationals, our achievements and dedication to our sorority and to our university do not go unnoticed. We are proud of the fact that at the annual South Carolina ZTA Day, our chapter has won the Most Outstanding Chapter Award multiple times and in 2014 our chapter was awarded Major Donor Award, Highly Commendable GPA, Panhellenic Award, Cass Elise McCartney Academic Award, Exellence in Risk Management, Quota/Total Award, and even Philanthropy of the Year! In terms of on-campus recognition we are ecstatic to announce that our philanthropy event, "Big Man on Campus" raised over $50,000 in 2016, thereby making us the organization that has raised the most money for a cause in all of Clemson University's history.
ZTA's also support the philanthropies of their fellow Greeks! You'll always find ZTA participating in events such as Chi Omega's Wings For Wishes, Alpha Tau Omega Viking Week, Alpha Sigma Phi Deck the Halls, Pi Kappa Alpha Fireman's Challenge, Beta Lei, & many many more!
